Ukraine’s new minister of economic development says Ukraine is bankrupt

Kiev. As cited by Itar Tass, Ukraine’s new Minister of Economic Development and Trade Aivaras Abromavicius said on Wednesday the country was in fact a bankrupt. “The state, as a matter of fact, is a bankrupt, so, it is simply unrealistic to expect us to offer real, but not declarative, programmes of motivation,” he said at a session of the Verkhovna Rada /parliament/ committee for economic policy. “Hence, the main thing now is not to impede businesses, and business will put things at rights.” He promised that it would take about two years for Ukraine to be ranked among top 50 countries in the Doing Business rating. “The government’s position is like this: rules for businesses - small, medium-sized and big - should be the same. No business should enjoy preferences, unnecessary privileges, monopolization of entire industries. Our position is to re-regulate this sphere to stop inspections, to cancel licensing that has no sense,” he said.

well that is how Russia-phobics see it....however most who know me know otherwise of course....the loudist complainers I think had family memebrs who saw some pretty bad events years past over there somewhere, and like those who came out of the Holocaust, you don’t forget that nor who did it. So I try to give them the benifit from time to time...unfortuantely they can prevent dialogue by their tempers and that does get annoying... and so we end up not having all the facts to draw conclusions of what is truth on the Russia US events in Ukraine.

Let me shed a tear for those poor Ruskies missing their evil empire.
That's up to you. This can't change what Gorbo is.

And over 100 million people won their freedom from Russian domination.

At least some of them feel like that. Many don't.

Yes..but it’s better now I understand. Still it’s no easy trick to flip an area from one nation to another. I think the Ukrainians thought it would also go more smoothly for them in Kiev and too those in the E. Uraine...all are suffering one way or anpther...but they’ve all been down that road before as well.

Ukraine’s got a newly formed coalition government now which unfortuantely includes a ‘Ministry of Information’...to ensure the information security” of the country. Which isn’t a good sign....Journalists and other critics mockingly call it the “Ministry of Truth”, saying that the ministry is a step backwards in media freedom.

So who knows how much news we’ll get that now tht isn’t government run...before it was run by the US....now I haven’t a clue except it’s the Gov. in place now.

Just read PM Yats has wared Rada that they are about to push through ‘heavy handed austerity reforms’, which won’t be popular.....That’s probably an understatement.

Simplistic labels such as trolls and other flavorful choice words are useful tools for the simple and those who seek to reinforce simplistic thinking ...it’s relatvely simple to wrap them in the packaging that appeals to the feeble minded....Further....utilizing this type of simplistic batteriing actually insults the sort of intelligence for most anyone who has found their way to participating regularly on these threads.

Your statement regarding Russia’s past sounds much like those in Ferguson still trying to re-play black slavery to the realities of today. Won’t work....it has nothing to do with the current state of affairs Ukraine faces.

Ukraine is trying to completely turn their nation around from one of vast extreme corruption to one that’s a functioning Government for it’s people. This in the midst of war ..... I can guarantee you nobody actively doing involved in changing their systems of operations is even remotely concerned with the happenings of the past....sufficient and then some what they have on their plates today...and that of their future...if it survives.

Troops from Russia were "Invited" by Poroshenko to come into E. Ukraine and assist in Peace efforts....your argument needs to be directed toward Poroshenko...he called it.

Meanwhile....

9th Russian hunamitarian aid convoy to Eastern Ukraine arrives on border.... Dec. 12, 2014

Then into Donbass

I know a site with pictures of aid convoys with artillery.

And those russian ‘’peacekeepers” should have blue

helmuts, and fact that there are adozen different other

groups ther efrom russia, cossacks, chechens, etc

they should be balanced of by couple US Airborne

divisions, some UN guys, somr EU guys, some Poles,

Nato types. We got to be fair and balanced.??.............

‘’fair and balanced’’

Usually peace keepers only have side arms and are

working with other out in the open charitable groups,

not with trucks covered so we can’t see the ordnance.

All those “convoys” and people still without as they are

posting on the net that they are, means convoys are just

mostly military supplies............

There won't be an "Invasion" of Ukraine any time soon if ever, at least not the kind your're expecting

....the US Military and Equipment etc. sent to Ukraine now are there to clear areas for fracking and drilling and protect the areas for resource development via Biden's son Hunter, appointed to board of major Ukrainian gas company..are you working it out yet?...

And there will be more Corporate raiders "invading" Ukraine....they dont even bother to hide it....talk about a conflict of interest and snouts in the trough

......Meanwhile they're "assisting" Ukraine's Government to position the Ukraine population for extreme austerity measures they're soon going to wake up to.

We did it....you're set for life!

Joe Biden chairing (!) a meeting with the Ukrainian officials in Kiev

..."It's nice to be King"!...

"Not to worry about this guy...He's one of ours too!"
