They either impeach the bastard now or saddle future generations of Americas to dictatorial rule.

They won’t.

Now, let’s get on with firing up our new party.

Get some balls, Boehner.

Resign and let a Patriot fill the Speakers seat.

We have to go after the head

The way the liberals went after Newt

Only for the opposite reasons

I mean, seriously? What kind of traumatized headcase thinking is this? Republicans are afraid that if the president issues his first veto over a significant bill that funds the entire government except for his lawless amnesty, somehow it will be Republicans' fault that the federal government shuts down?

Unless of course the Republicans also want amnesty and can indirectly get it this way. -Tom

they sought power and said the right words to achieve through an election

but now that the election is over, like politicians everywhere, they tell the voters to go away or simply ignore them.

They haven’t even assumed their offices yet and they’re already giving up.

Why bother voting?

Figured Boehner and McConnell would sell us out eventually, but not this quick and this completely.

They don't even bother making a pretense of fighting anymore.

Republicans are fighting the war they always wanted: against us. You might as well write the Rats need to fight Obama.

Republicans in Congress have proven themselves liars. They talk one message, act on the opposite.

The only difference between the GOP and the democrats is the GOP will take a just a little longer to destroy America.

Its time for a third party

Coincidentally, I called my congress critter today, a fairly conservative Pub.

The message was simple and direct:

  1. No funding for illegal amnesty
  2. No funding for Obamacare
  3. No $500 billion deficit ... $250 max this year and balanced budget next year
  4. Impeach the Idiot
  5. Dump Boo Hoo Boner as speaker ... get someone instead who will lead and fight

I reminded the critter that he was not elected to get along with the main stream establishment. He was chosen based on his promise to fight like hell to change Washington.

I concluded by stating that if he failed in this mission, he could count on not just losing my support and the backing of everyone I could persuade, he would discover us engaged in active opposition to his reelection.

There were three other persons in my office when I made my call. They were loudly cheering and clapping by the time I finished my list. The critter couldn't miss them in the background.

We'll see if the message gets through ... that we're sick and tired of this same old sh*t!

Maybe now people are starting to understand why some of us fought so hard to keep RINOs out of another term.

Folks, there’s nothing we can do about it now. They were returned to DC and they acted exactly as predicted. Now we have another choice to make. We can either make more excuses for cowardace or we can start working for 16 and praying a lot.

And that means getting on the same page. And that means doing it without the GOP cheer squad tying us up in pointless arguments about Jeb and Rand and Rick and all the other liberal losers that have already begun on Free Republic.

We have 6 years of that. We see what the result is. Is that what we want to do yet again in the liberal like ‘hope’ that ‘this time will be different?’

None of this is rocket surgery folks. It’s all as simple as it gets. Vote conservative. promote conservatives. Stop letting RINOs run the show. Stop letting them have an open forum to spread dissension and the fear that has resulted in this mess we see today.

Otherwise, why are any of us here? I don’t mean just here on FR, I mean involved with politics at all? If we are going to simply go through the motions doing not a thing different every 2 years, don’t we all have better things to do?

If people would have listened years ago when the GOP began the sprint left, we’d have had a functional conservative party now. Instead fear controlled people and they ran to the arms of the GOP. Well now conservatives have enough knives sticking out of their backs to get them listed by science as a species of porcupine.

It does not have to be that way. Each of you have free will and a choice. Make it and live by it without the drama. Either be what you claim, a conservative and fight like one or just keep doing the same thing every cycle. Lose an election, talk tough for a year and a half and then cave in exactly as Bhoner and Mitch cave in because ultimately there is no difference. We get the government we elect.

All the warning signs were there. They have not been hidden. Do we see that now? Do we understand that the Dem is NOT worse than the RINO? It is not the Democrats that did this. It’s the GOP. ‘OUR’ GOP.

Make the choice.

The proposed solution--funding most of the federal government until next September, but funding Homeland Security only until next March--would, I believe, serve the dual purposes of keeping the government open (so that the left-leaning MSM cannot blame Those Evil Republicans for any government shutdown), while allowing a Republican-controlled Congress (both chambers, beginning in January) to set the priorities as concerning illegal immigration.

In fact, Charles Krauthammer--certainly no liberal--has made a similar point.
