THE NUCLEAR OPTION: IF REPUBLICANS DON'T FIGHT NOW, THEY NEVER WILL
Breitbart ^ | December 10, 2014 | by Charles Hurt

Posted on 12/10/2014 6:42:53 PM PST by Jim Robinson

Call it the mysterious case of the Incredible Shrinking GOP.

Barely one month ago, the party sailed to victory in one of the biggest rout election waves of the past century. They ran the board and took control of the U.S. Senate. They grew to historic levels in the U.S. House. The Democratic Party was left in tatters in state, local, and governor races across the country.

But today, just a few weeks later, before GOPers even take hold of their new reins of power, the party is crying poverty. They are stricken with paralysis. House Speaker John A. Boehner, known for his weeping, begs powerlessness.

"Frankly, we have limited options and limited abilities to deal with it directly," Mr. Boehner said last week when asked about President Obama's unconstitutional executive action to grant amnesty to millions of illegal aliens presently living illegally in the U.S.

"Limited options?" "Limited abilities?" We have an unbridled madman in the White House right now taking a machete to the U.S. Constitution and the leader of the opposition party that was just thrust to power in a historic rejection of the president and his cleptocratic policies is now talking about "limited" options and abilities?

Funny, I don't recall a single Republican running in a single race this year on a campaign that Republicans in Congress have only "limited" options and abilities to stop Mr. Obama. No, in fact, every single one of them ran their entire campaigns on the singular promise that we have to vote for Republicans so they could stop Mr. Obama. And Americans voted.

Now the chads have not even settled yet and already we are being told the whole meaning of the election is something different now. Now that they have won.

Either Republicans did not really believe their campaign...

They either impeach the bastard now or saddle future generations of Americas to dictatorial rule.

I agree 101%....

Congress needs to do what is right for the next generation, not the next election!!!!

Follow the money. If the GOP does the right thing, their special interest money dries up like a prune. They get big money from very powerful groups who stand to benefit from both amnesty and Obamacare. They will do as their paymasters tell them.

Republicans in Congress have proven themselves liars. They talk one message, act on the opposite.

Its painfully obvious that the GOP wants votes and money from conservatives but it doesn’t want their principles. For those who are registered Republicans, its time to reconsider your affiliation. Drop the GOP.

A huge part of the USA is not represented by either political party. Does secession fit anywhere into this situation?

Absolutely, the corrupt political games in DC is why I’ve been a proponent of Texan Independence for the last two years. As far as I’m concerned, its the only way to save my beloved Texas without the bloodshed of war. Other red states have the people and the resources to band together into a new union. Then the few remaining diehard blue states can wither on the vine until they collapse from socialism.

The only difference between the GOP and the democrats is the GOP will take a just a little longer to destroy America.

Its time for a third party

We have to go after the head The way the liberals went after Newt Only for the opposite reasons

Actually it was John Boehner himself who set up the ousting of Newt. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Paxon Paxon a congressman from NY at they tie was told by Boehner to set up a meeting with DeLay and Armey. Yeah Boehner's anti conservative antics go back that far.

Coincidentally, I called my congress critter today, a fairly conservative Pub.

The message was simple and direct:

  1. No funding for illegal amnesty
  2. No funding for Obamacare
  3. No $500 billion deficit ... $250 max this year and balanced budget next year
  4. Impeach the Idiot
  5. Dump Boo Hoo Boner as speaker ... get someone instead who will lead and fight

I reminded the critter that he was not elected to get along with the main stream establishment. He was chosen based on his promise to fight like hell to change Washington.

I concluded by stating that if he failed in this mission, he could count on not just losing my support and the backing of everyone I could persuade, he would discover us engaged in active opposition to his reelection.

There were three other persons in my office when I made my call. They were loudly cheering and clapping by the time I finished my list. The critter couldn't miss them in the background.

We'll see if the message gets through ... that we're sick and tired of this same old sh*t!

The Washingtonians must be stopped and that will only happen via military intervention directed by a Right Wing strong man POTUS with no allegiance to the corruptocrats.

Happens all the time in other countries.

Occasionally, Republics need to be reset.

It’s time.

Don’t ever make the mistake of thinking the Washingtonian that represents your District cares about anything other that getting reelected.

That means doing what the Party bosses tell him to do or he gets no campaign cash or support from the RNC and who ever else funds his “operation”

This is legal organized crime

Taking calls and letters and e-mails from constituents is make work for his high paid degenerate staffers.
