Cabelas Incorporated (CAB), the Worlds Foremost Outfitter® of hunting, fishing and outdoor gear, announced today plans to bring Cabelas unique retail experience and legendary customer service to Farmington, Utah, and the greater Salt Lake City area.
Construction is scheduled to begin in 2015, and Cabelas anticipates a spring 2016 opening for the 72,000-square-foot store. It will be located in the newly planned Park Lane Commons development adjacent to Station Park on the west side of Interstate 15 near the intersection of Station Parkway and Park Lane.

Come to Florida!
Ah, Cabelas, the grown man’s Disneyland.
Several Christmases ago when we were in the Cabela’s by us, my son remarked that it was the first time he was in the store when there were more human heads than animal heads.
The new Cabelas in Sun Prairie slated to open next spring will be nice.
The libs in the people’s republik of Madistan will be so sad they didn’t build there... Tax whores that they are
Interesting. There is already a Cabelas in Lehi Utah, (coincidentally 2 or 3 miles from the huge NSA data center). Having a second one just 40 miles North makes me think they know the Utah demographics. The Lehi location is ALWAYS busy.
“Ah, Cabelas, the grown mans Disneyland.”
Lol! Agree. Guess I’m surprised that Cabelas is not yet in Utah; being that hunting, fishing, etc, is so big there.
I call stores like this a toy store for grown ups and love it every time I go in the door.
Loving the store as much as I very much do, with the prices they charge they could open a new store every day.
Unfortunately, they will burn out because of their prices and be the next K-Mart in a few years.
