Omnibus Bill Includes Giant Political Earmark

Fellow Conservative:

The text of the 1,603-page, $1.1 trillion omnibus spending bill was released yesterday after House and Senate leaders wrote it behind closed doors.

Instead of fighting for a provision that defunds the president's unlawful amnesty, Republican leaders fought for other riders.

For example, they airdropped a political earmark into the bill that increases the amount the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) can collect from individual donors from $32,400 per year to $324,000 – a tenfold increase.

Since the NRSC takes sides in primaries, the new donation limit will help the DC establishment do more to support liberal incumbents.

RINOIt's an earmark for RINOs!

The provision will help Senator Mitch McConnell do more to "punch" conservatives "in the nose" and to "crush" conservatives everywhere.

Remember how the NRSC worked closely with Senator Thad Cochran's race-baiting campaign in Mississippi this year, which attacked conservatives and recruited Democrats to hijack the primary election?

If the omnibus becomes law, conservatives can expect even more of these treacherous tactics from the NRSC.

TAKE ACTION NOW

Congress will vote on the omnibus this Thursday so this is your last chance to stop the RINO earmark and to force lawmakers to defund the president's amnesty.

Republican leaders in the House do not have the votes to pass the bill so there's still time to defeat it.

Please call conservatives in the House and urge them to oppose the omnibus and to vote against the "rule" that brings it to the floor for debate.

Some lawmakers say they want to wait until next year to fight amnesty. They're making excuses. If this omnibus bill passes, Republicans will immediately lose their leverage to stop the president's unlawful action.

And let’s not forget that Roger Wicker from MISSISSIPPI is now head of the NRSC!

Decades of public education mean that this country will never be saved at the ballot box. I am now a fan of the Cloward/Priven strategy. I hope we can rebuild from the ashes after the inevitable collapse. It is a good time to be old.

Instead of fighting for a provision that defunds the president's unlawful amnesty,

It only took Boehner and McConnell a month to forget why the American public put the GOP in control of congress.

I, for one, will not forget this and if I get the opportunity to punish these bastards, you can count on it!

My email to Tom Price, GA-6

It has been barely a month since the American public sent a loud and decisive message by voting GOP majorities in both houses of congress that THEY DO NOT APPROVE of KING 0bama's AMNESTY, yet I see that the omnibus budget bill put together by Boehner and McConnell has money supporting it. Either the GOP "leadership" are arrogant SOBs trying to "stick their finger in the eyes" of hard working Americans, or they have a very short attention span! There's another election in two years and believe me we will not forget this!

Mitch McConnell looks much like a Harry Reed impersonator and in his hatred of the tea party conservatives, may become one. Lets see if the newly elected congress critters do their jobs or go back to robing and stealing from the taxpayers as this omnibus bill will do. To the delight of the Obamanation and his minions.

If you are a registered Republican, maybe its time to reconsider your political affiliation. If enough people LEAVE the party it will make a big statement and may even encourage the rise of a viable third party.

Its abundantly clear that the GOP does not represent conservatives. To the contrary, it is doing everything in its power to marginalize and/or remove them. When will people finally have had enough?

“may even encourage the rise of a viable third party.”

Good luck with that. I was in local government nearly 20 years, and asking conservatives to attend a town hall meeting was like asking vampires to show up at a sunrise worship ceremony. Until conservatives learn to organize locally to end high county property taxes and leftist control of local schoolboards, there will be no national third party.

That assumes they ever understood in the first place.

I see your point. Speaking from personal experience, its was difficult to get conservative friends off the couch to attend a Tea Party rally for even a couple of hours. Most are sympathetic but have “schedule conflicts”. Evidently lots of trivial things are more important to them than personal liberties when it comes down to it. So I understand where you’re coming from. Conservatives had better “suit up” if they want to win any games.

As for a third party, we almost made it with the Tea Party. But it too seems to have fizzled for lack of activity. Its was our best chance and its gone.

I hear you.

At our first Tea Party meeting in the Spring, 2009, we had the pleasure of confronting Holder’s SEIU union goons who tried to disrupt the rally. We chased them into a building where they locked themselves inside and begged for the cops to come rescue them. They were crying like little girls.

Conservatives need to get out of the house more often and join the fun.
