There aren't enough. That's why it all has to be done legally

You cannot possibly be this ignorant of fact and history. There has NEVER been a resistance movement to tyranny that has EVER been "legal". Not a single one. Not ever.

Not our own Revolution either. The Founding Fathers were in complete defiance of the Crown and the "Law". They were seen by the King as traitors and rebels, as EVERY SINGLE resistance to state tyranny has ever been seen as.

It is our obedience to the 'Higher law" that matters, inasmuch as it requires we defy the law of men to maintain obedience to the Higher Law.

( No one can hold anything against a righteous man).

Tyrannies ALWAYS hold the righteous in contempt and in criminality. It is how Christians are slaughtered en masse. It is how a once-free people are subjugated by an unholy state. Our own government ALREADY holds contempt against righteous men, so I do not have any idea where you get these platitudes from. They are not based in history or reality.

Only when the majority of people start to notice the suffering will something change (and they ARE starting to suffer).

You are ignoring another aspect of history. Tyrants know and understand that imposing mass misery and suffering on a people serves the impetus to getting those same people to trade what little they have left for the mere promise of bread and safety, or the empty promise of a return to 'normalcy'.

If a majority of the American people only care about their 'stuff' and cable and beer - the table is already set for the majority to surrender what remains of liberty for a promise - while the tyrants will place blame on their enemies for 'causing' the misery everyone is suffering from. This is how genocides against a declared target are accepted by the masses.

When suffering reaches a level that a people will risk confronting the tyranny - the tyrant is already prepared to use that as the justification to bring down an iron fist and get the populace to accept their actions under the pretense of returning to normalcy.

The longer it takes for a people to realize they have nothing left to lose, the less chance there is to overcome the preparations a State has made against them, and 'change' becomes only a dream.

We the few can do something rather than nothing, and legally refusing to pay any and all avoidable taxes can only help. The more who join us ( because it it beneficial to the individual who does join us), the better it will work.

"Avoidable taxes"???? You are living in fantasyland. There is no such thing as "Avoidable taxes" in the eyes of a tyrannical state.

But to extend you some slack, your litmus test of how limited and ineffective such an idea of yours is going to be is watching how many hundreds of millions comply with ObamaCare and all it's demands, edicts, regulations and limitations.

The communist/socialist section of our government (democrats and RINOS) know the only way to usher in a socialist/communist society is to destroy the one in existence first (through incrimentiaslism it will go unnoticed). So what if WE decide to destroy the socialist/communist society we have now as well?

There is no way to do that via the method you suggest unless 100 years of suffering and incrementalism while being subjugated is your plan.

It needs money to survive. Without money it dies.

When a tyranny can print money out of thin air - there is no limit to it's endurance except a total collapse of a civilization, which may indeed be our fate the way things are shaping up.

What we can do is try to starve it any way we can without giving them a tool to attack us with.

Come on man! You cannot be that ignorant of how Statism and tyranny works. A tyranny will create tools to attack us with. What was once lawful becomes ILLEGAL in a tyranny. What was once a right of the people, becomes BANNED by judicial and executive fiat, and refusal to comply BECOMES the tool they will attack us with. Just ask bakers, photographers and businesses that dare assert their right to refuse service to homosexuals.

Because it's all legal - no one will be afraid to join a small movement such as this. It can be turned into a "savings" game. It could be "fun."

Try talking to a Tea Party or Conservative group trying to get an IRS tax exemption to see how 'fun' they think it was.

Methinks your thinking is 20 years too late.

Thanks for that. I wish more of us had an ear for it. We passed the point where any “legal” means of resistance would be effective several years ago.

Business owners can no longer manage their businesses according to their beliefs. Citizens can no longer rent or lease their property to whom they please. If the government can get more taxes if another entity owns it, then the government will take it and sell it to that entity. Free speech as the Constitution allows is disappearing at breakneck speed. Our children are being taught a revised history of this nation that will destroy any respect they may have for it, ever. And the list gets longer daily.

There is no easy way out of the sorry state we’ve allowed this nation to fall into. The longer we try to find the easy out, the more impossible it will become.
