“...black men could not be held responsible for taking care of their children...
I see but, the fathers of Mexican children can take care of their children?
The fathers of children from a New Delhi ethnicity can take care of their children?
The fathers of Chinese children can take care of their children?
The fathers of Japanese children can take care of their children?
The fathers of Tongan children can take care of their children?
The fathers of Italian children can take care of their children?
But, the fathers of Black children are openly admitting they are inferior to all other fathers?
And, require a handout?
The fathers of black children openly admit they cant thrive and require the patronage of another man, who is a father to his children?
The fathers of black children openly admit they require the government to deprive another man of the hard earned fruits of his labor and subsume his children to a beastly mans brood, who lives only to consume other peoples lives?
Is that what black people in America are really about?
Correct. The logic in this article is so idiotic that it is breathtaking. Sharpton is actually saying a Gruberism. Black people are so stupid according to him that they cannot do what every minority in this country is apparently doing which is taking care of their kids, finding work, solving their problems etc. He is basically saying that black people are the least capable minority. Does he even realize what he is saying?
But yet, ever since the Great Society programs started in the middle 1960's, blacks have substantially regressed, with great difficulty integrating into much of modern American society. They have, in effect, reduced to a status that--dare I say it!--is almost as bad as the black slavery before the Civil War. And any black that have succeeded in the ways we're familiar with have been labeled Uncle Tom (or worse!).
In short, even the Hispanics have overtaken the blacks, and likely substantially so within the next 15 years. In the Los Angeles area, Hispanic enclaves like East Los Angeles and Santa Fe Springs are starting to gentrify, while black-dominated South Central Los Angeles still haven't fully recovered from the 1966 Watts riots. And people like Sharpton and Jackson with their rhetoric are holding too many blacks back, in my humble opinion.
