Agreed.. It’s a different ballgame now.
As Franklin said, a republic, if you can keep it. We couldn’t. It is in decline. We haven’t the spine to rid ourselves of the leeches and parasites that are dragging us down. At long last, we have no shame.
Nah; it's still SIN.
Believe the following or don't: our choice to make.
2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, who are called by my name,
shall humble themselves,
and pray, and seek my face,
and turn from their wicked ways; ,
then will I hear from heaven,
and will forgive their sin,
and will heal their land.

He may be the number one living human I would like to have the privilege of meeting and talking with. I am sure that he is not perfect, I’m certainly not and don’t know any human who is but he has a way of looking at reality and expressing it in such a succinct way that no one should have any problem understanding what he is saying. Almost never have I read a sentence of his with which I could find some grounds for disagreement. He seems to stay so grounded in the basics of reality that he stands in stark contrast to those who wander off into the wilderness and lose track of their starting point. He always remembers that he set out to drain the swamp and never allows himself to be caught up to his arse in alligators.

” Many years ago, the late William F. Buckley said that he would rather be ruled by people with the first hundred names in the Boston phone book than by a hundred Harvard professors”
No brainer : )
Stay out of Harvard Square. In fact, stay out of Cambridge, Mass. altogether!
“I miss the military-industrial complex.
The academic-media complex is killing us.”
Post of the day.
There are two issues in the Garner case. The first - and the one most people are so upset about - is the attempted arrest and its aftermath.
The second issue is that the law on which his arrest hinged was a confiscatory tax law.
One can decry both or either separately.
I would love to meet him, too.
I have disagreed with him a few times, not on principles but on action. Nevertheless I think he is BRILLIANT and a PLEASURE to read.
