Cassidy is NOT a tea party candidate. He’s an established RINO from the lower House. The conservative in this race was LtCol Robert Maness....I hope he runs for Cassidy’s seat in the House.

The CD 6th seat was won by Garrett Graves in a runoff
against former Gov. Edwin Edwards.

Yeah, I didn’t ask about Cassidy.
The House is where the important things are happening.

In other words, the names and faces change, but it’s still the same old, same old.
God, I hate what we’ve allowed them to do to our once great country.

Cassidy’s 5th District seat was won by another GOP insider, Garrett Graves easily defeating disgraced former governor Edwin Edwards. Maness’ impressive performance in the November elections on a shoe string budget means the state GOP will likely eye him for some state level office next year, perhaps Lt Gov or a run against Democrat Bob (?) Donnolon the state insurance commissioner.
