I have no doubt Red China was the eventual destination for this data.Perhaps, but China (and Russia) already have anti-ship missiles that will blow a carrier into pieces in one strike and which we have no defense against.

I would suggest taking out a carrier would initiate a retaliatory response. Is China ready to go to war ?
