Paul is clear that it gives one more to devote to heavenly concerns. If that doesn’t fit the definition of “holier”, then I don’t know what does. Heavenly matters are sacred, worldly matters are profane. The profane is not necessarily sinful, but it is absolutely less meaningful and of lesser substance than the sacred.
