She was fired from the Watergate commission going after Nixon for lying and unethical behavior- which should have been career suicide.
How did womanizer Bill end up with her? I think it was symbiotic- he oozed charisma from his pores- she was the crafty schemer who got him to do what he needed to do.
He has NOT needed her in a long time, but she knows where all the bodies are buried (probably literally)
