My point being that typical, regular, law-abiding, decent, and honorable people (who might very well be on a Grand Jury) do not wish to have their hand "forced" due to concern whether an angry bunch of thugs will riot.

This guy (allegedly) sold untaxed cigarettes. Thats it. Thats the crime that led to this incident. Something to think about any time legislation is proposed to prohibit some activity. Ask yourself "Am I willing to KILL the people who do it, if they disobey the ban?"
