Heck no .. what Trey has to do is write a final report and read it on the House Floor .. where it will be forced to become enshrined as part of the documentation kept by the House.

There would be no escape from the truth of the report .. no matter how much the media and the admin will try to discredit it.

I believe the Bonehead would not allow Gowdy to floor the report and I don't know that a procedural mechanism exists that Gowdy could use to circumvent the Speaker's order. In my option, Gowdy has demonstrated that his integrity surpasses most of his colleagues. I hope that he not only succeed, I hope that one day he becomes the Speaker.
