Already reviled by green groups for repealing its predecessors carbon tax, Australias center-right government is stoking fresh controversy with plans to slash funding to the U.N.s top environmental body.
Coming at a time when a U.N. climate conference in Peru is firing up activists, the decision by Prime Minister Tony Abbotts government to cut funding to the U.N. Environment Program (UNEP) by more than 80 percent has drawn sharp condemnation.
Critics already view Australia as a global pariah, going against the tide of progress in the drive to tackle climate change.

We need more “pariahs” like them to help return sanity to the world.
Good for Australia! Rational behavior results in long term benefits. First they refused to allow their country to be transformed by culturally alien illegal immigrants and then they said no to the climate fraudsters.
Now, if they only had a 2nd amendment...........
This outrageous Australian miserliness will adversely affect thousands of Third World bureaucrats who pretend to work for the UN. They will not be able to dine out. They will not be able to travel. They will be unable to pay their European girlfriends' rent. As anyone who took Economics 101 can tell you, this will cause many service people to suffer a loss in income. The Third World bureaucrats themselves will have to return to their own Third World countries to become grossly inefficient and poorly paid government workers.
Also many Third World UN bureaucrats are dark-complected, so this Australian defunding proposal is absolutely racist. It would serve Global Warming deniers right if rising ocean levels wiped out their lawns and living rooms. No justice. No peace.
Not to worry. Their miserly contributions were noting compared to what we pony up for useless spending on a useless organization(?). The third world elites who are doing such wonderful work for their people will not be subjected to coach class seating. :>}
