Mitt Romney may say he's not planning to make a third run for the White House, but according to a new CNN/ORC International poll, Republican voters aren't ready to give up on the idea just yet. While there is no clear frontrunner for the Republican ticket in 2016, most likely GOP voters say they would choose the former Massachusetts governor for the nomination, among 16 potential contenders. According to the survey, 20 percent of voters say Romney would be their first choice for the nominee, with retired neurosurgeon and conservative activist Ben Carson coming in second with 10 percent of the vote.

It would be my pleasure *not* to vote for a liberal Republican like Romney for a third time. (Imagine ... if we had elected him, we'd be stuck with the exact same health care, net neutrality, foreign policy, gay marriage, etc, etc, etc, problems ... but it would be the Republican's fault and the Democrats would dominate Congress instead.)

If so, the country is truly doomed.

Okay, now that you’ve polled the prisons, jails and mental hospitals, go back and ask the voters who they want.

Its the name recognition, stupid.
That’s why Mittens and Her Heinousness dominate the polls.

That Outnumbered show on Fox News is a mess on immigration. They sound like airheads on the topic. Tom Shilue was at least half right. He tried to explain the divisons in the party. I just was unhappy with how Andrea Tantaros painted things and Kennedy’s pro amnesty views. Good day to bash Fox News.

It’s just the redos that want Romney, I suspect. It will not take grasp
through the masses / means not much because there’s No one front runner candidate or two to date.

Anyone who says “Romney” as an answer to one of these polls is not to be trusted. That’s the kind of voter who’ll jump off the Mitt bandwagon over to the Jeb bus when Romney announces that he isn’t running again.o
