I’m cautiously optimistic that Landrieu is finally toast. Landrieu's internal polling must be truly grim if she's resorting to absurd statements like this. On the Walton and Johnson radio show this morning, they summed it up pretty well:
"Mary knows that she's about to be cut off from the bacon-wrapped shrimp".
