IIRC the suspect the cops were after lived in a different unit, upstairs from the girl they murdered. To add to Jocon307’s comments law abiding poor people cannot help that their neighbors are often criminals. Should they be less safe from murder by cop than people who can afford to live in the burbs?

No, I never said that they should. But you know that. You should have heard O'Reilly tonight. It was about the folks in Ferguson and their "rights" to loot, burn, create havoc disguised as "free speech." They hate the cops and think it's OKAY to express themselves by violence.

Have YOU ever lived in a third world country? Have you ANY idea what cops are like in places NOT the USA? Folks bellyache as if our cops are so bad but they haven't a CLUE what it's like in other parts of the NON-western world. We are SO lucky to have the thin blue line who are city/country employees.
MOST countries have NO "thin blue line who are city/country employees." They have only federal police who do all the policing...and they answer to NO one.

Go live in ANY third world country for a year, no, a month, no a week, no ONE day and you will see what "bad cops" are. Our cops are the best in the world and if you don't believe me, see yourself. You won't, of course. You will stay in this country, in your own state and town and on THIS site and wax poetic about our USA cops.

God bless you...and you can't even say that in some parts of the world. Count your blessings about our cops and our freedoms ... if you can.
