It bears mentioning that the only person in history who was able to perfectly obey the 10 commandments is Jesus. He was killed for his trouble.
That’s why Jesus is our lawyer in God’s court. Jesus reconciles us each individually to God. Also Jesus reconciles God to us each individually. This is a big deal.
Thank-you for your post. As we enter Advent, it is a mixture of the anticipation for Christ’s birth, Christ is born again, and gratitude that he is our personal advocate. Oh, how wonderful is our God, Jesus Christ. I can only hope and strive that I am worthy of his sacrifice.
