does that mean that trains are safer than the pipeline? Yes, the Bakken Crude is "light" so the trains have an easier time transporting it, and the brakes work better.

Gotcha does that mean that trains are safer than the pipeline? No...but there aren't enough pipelines in ND to cope with the volume.
