Darren Wilson, the Ferguson, Missouri, police officer who killed unarmed teen Michael Brown in August, setting off months of protests, will likely never be a law enforcement officer again, his lawyer said in an interview with NBC station KSDK.
"Realistically speaking, Darren will never be a police officer again, and he understands that," attorney Jim Towey said. "Going forward it will be school, and trying to carve out a new niche, new career, for he and his family."
There were violent protests this week in the St. Louis suburb after a grand jury declined to indict Wilson in Brown's death on Aug. 9. Twelve buildings and a police car were torched, police officers were pelted with bottles and rocks, and tear gas was used against crowds in protests after the grand jury's decision Monday. Other protests also erupted across the country....

He should run for governor!
.
Juan Williams should never be a news reporter.
Baloney. I believe the poster was alluding to the fact that with a predominately white demographic that controversy can be better avoided, thus giving him a chance to continue his career as a LEO.
Think things through before being rude.
Wyoming, Montana, Texas or Alaska is my thought...
Grow a beard..
few years no one will remember him.
The types that would want him dead will have moved on to the next target.
He isn’t he just pretends to be one. ;-)
Thee have been posts here on FR.
Yesterday, someone was kind enough to post a whole series of photos of Mike Brown and his step father sporting Blood colors and flashing the Blood sign.
>> “That makes him “armed” during the confrontation.” <<
.
That is precisely my position.

Nah. His first name is “Dead.” Or maybe that is a title. /s
I don’t know why anyone would want to be in the police force in Ferguson MO. Seriously. Why take the risk? You’re protecting people who hate you and think the entire police force are racists.
Why put up with that?
I’d quit and look for police work somewhere where it is more appreciated. I bet there are more than a few resumes out looking for a new location.
He come to Texas, some small town could make him Police Chief.
School? Those liberal bastions? I doubt he’ll do well in any school. If he would even survive.
Sadly, I doubt there’s a town in America that will hire him. Because they’re all PC cowards. I wish Sheriff Joe would hire him.
The city should pay him a pension. He did what he was trained to do and that cost him his career therefore he deserves to be compensated.
I got some hate mail for saying this last time, but I’ll say it again: it’s the smart move for Wilson. If he stayed on the force in Ferguson, he would probably be a marked man. If he’d gone to another city’s police department, every stop and arrest he made would be put under a microscope of media scrutiny. There probably was no way for him to remain in law enforcement and be an effective officer.
It’s unfair, but what’s fair and what just is are often two very different things in this world. One hopes that Wilson will receive a generous enough arrangement from the Ferguson PD that he can pick up and start a new life somewhere else without too much trouble.
The MSM in this country have become nothing but one continuous FUBAR ... Perhaps when THEIR homes and businesses get torched; when THEIR livelihoods get put under, when THEIR people get shafted ... Perhaps then they shall learn the truism that what goes around comes around.
Than George Zimmerman. The idiot went breaking traffic laws after the St. Skittle incident. That’s how you alert people out for your blood where to find you. The problems that he’s had with that woman he was/is dating also exacerbates his issues. I assume DW will have the common sense to avoid such situations if he possibly can.
Yeah. He needs a clothing allowance and a new sidearm.
You can go to college now on the Internet, grandpa. LOL
And how many police unions contributed money to Obama?
Private investigator or corrections officer? /s
He has had the good grace to keep a MUCH lower profile than George
