Thanks. If it’s a genuine risk that would threaten salmon and the industry I understand the argument against it.
There’s a legal process to fight projects of this nature and the EPA did not follow that process. Now they and this Phillip North are trying to cover up their illegal behavior.
In my view whether the Pebble mine is approved or not this North and anyone else complicit in the EPA should be prosecuted.

Everything you say may be true but the fact is Phillip North has bugged out and will not back up his findings nor will the EPA due to his missing emails.

My background is in coal mining so I generally support mineral development. But from what I've read (setting aside the EPA’s actions) there is massive risk to one of the world's largest and finest fisheries if one of the mine’s dams springs a leak.

Thanks! If there is a true environmental concern, then it should be the issue, and I agree the EPA and others should be prosecuted for not properly following the law.
