Only a racist could blame “white privilege” or even just the short form “privilege” for this violent crime. As a sensible conservative, I know that the vast majority of black people are better than this. As a law-abiding person who grew up genuinely poor (with far less than we would have had on welfare), I know that the vast majority of poor people are better than this. Whether or not Oliver Friedfeld is a liar who invented this story, he’s a bigot if he actually believes that poor people (or, more likely, poor black people) are incapable of acting morally or of following the law.
