Really? That is insulting. NYC was the crime capital of the world and was a hopeless mess before Rudy took over. No one could ever have imagined a clean, safe NYC. After he left office NYC was the SAFEST city in the USA. Seems easy now, right?
NYC was a horrendous mess, the former mayor was nothing less than a transformative figure.
NYC was never close to being the most dangerous American city. Detroit; Chicago and Houston immediately pop to mind.
