Final Report Released After Two-Year Investigation Into Benghazi (House Intel)

WASHINGTON (AP) — A two-year investigation by the Republican-controlled House Intelligence Committee has found that the CIA and the military acted properly in responding to the 2012 attack on a U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya, and asserted no wrongdoing by Obama administration appointees.

Debunking a series of persistent allegations hinting at dark conspiracies, the investigation of the politically charged incident determined that there was no intelligence failure, no delay in sending a CIA rescue team, no missed opportunity for a military rescue, and no evidence the CIA was covertly shipping arms from Libya to Syria.

I guess this can only lead us to one conclusion then. The Commander in Chief obfuscated his sworn duty in regards to the attack on the State Department outpost by his non-involvement on that night. Impeach.

Stay calm. What they are saying is that this particular committee didn’t find anything. They are closing out now because the new guys get into town in January.

Gowdy has said there will be some of his panel’s hearings in December. And some will be televised. He says they have been working behind the scene and that they are making progress.

Mike Rogers R-MI is retiring and will start a talk radio show on January 5. He's going to show, how the 300 people before him have failed, are wrong. He's going to show that a "moderate" talk show host can one, have a successful program and two, take on and defeat that radical Rush Limbaugh. And three, create himself as politically influential and take away the GOP from those krazy, kracked, rightwing kooks in Rush's audience and the Tea Party etc.

I predict, that we will never hear from Mike Rogers again. Better late than never as this report on the "Benghazi" investigation shows.

The only REAL issue of Benghazi was that the administration LIED about it afterwards, and this report concludes that they did.

But because there are all these other speculations, the media gets to spin that the report “dismissed” the “myths”, when those myths were nothing more than questions about whether things happened or not.

A fair media would report that the intelligence committee “resolved questions” and determined that the administration lied about the reasons for the attack in order to win an election.
