Mr. Obama is trying hard to make an imprint upon history. I like asking Mexicans WHEN the Revolution started... does anyone know when it ended? Does anyone know how many died. In school text books, it is likened unto the Bolshevik Revolution and Trotsky came to town, the MOTTO, THE LAND BELONGS TO THE PERSON WHO TILLS IT, some say was borrowed from the Russian Communist takeover. About the same time frame.

"how many died"

In a country that at the time had less than twenty million people I've read estimates that over a million Mexicans died during the approx. ten years of conflict. Of course, the national economy was almost totally destroyed. Virtually all the major players including the major rebels Zapata and Villa met with violent deaths. Although Villa's death occurred after most of the major hostilities ended. Many of the gov. leaders were also swallowed up by the violence.
