Ebola death doesn’t seem to come on suddenly. There are usually several days of malaise, headache, vomiting, diarrhea, weakness, dehydration and organ failure.

I’d be surprised if someone in the end stages of Ebola managed to visit a hair salon or show up for work there.

Which isn’t to say that people shouldn’t be very very careful about treating a patient with recent time in West Africa.
