A politician is free to consider the American public a lumping mass of epic stupid.
He is not, however, permitted to flat-out lie to them in order to force higher taxes and unpopular laws down their throats.
It’s kind of like shooting a bad driver. He might deserve it, but it’s still a criminal act.
“Democrats. Guber-level stupid since, like, 2009.®”
Especially if that politician is Obama and the lumping mass of epic stupid is an American public that would elect someone like him.
