My family settled in Idaho in the 1870’s and 1880’s from Utah, big families no land.

The only people in Idaho who benefit from Illegals are large planters.

Bill, we have been in SW Idaho since 1997. My wife is originally from IF when her mom and dad moved there back in the 1960s.

Love it here...here's a couple of pics for you. we are having what is going to make for a record breaking winter already.

Had a record November snowfall (from records extending back into those 1870s) last Thursday and Friday. 10 inches here in the Payette Valley and emmett. Then Sunday morning we had -7 degrees here. Another record set... lowest November temperature since records have been kept.

I thought you might be interested, so here's a few pics for you:

While the snow was flying:

Our home during a lull in the storm.

A neighbor's home while the snow was flying.

A sub-division entrance near our home.

Leaving the house for work the second morning.

And then, in the crystal clear weather in the cold days after the storm:

A farm house north east of Emmett this morning, with the foothills in the background.

Entering Black Canyon with Black Butte in the background.

Another view of Black Butte this morning.

Foothillse east of Emmett this morning

Enjoy!
