It's my understanding that in addition to holding the majorities in both houses of congress, the Republicans now hold something like 30 governorships and control 66% of all state legislatures. If this is true, it would appear that the socialist/progressive Democrat Party's hold over the people is finally breaking and the star of freedom is rising. That should deplete Obama's political capital to zero, leaving him a toothless old lame duck. Now is not the time to give ground on any front. We must stop Obama's lawlessness and hold him and the corrupt democrats accountable for their crimes and missteps, ie, it's time for the adults to take charge.
If the GOP does not foul it up, we are on the cusp of retaking the White House in 2016 plus increasing our majorities at every level of government. Now is the time for we the people and our sovereign state governments to reassert our constitutional authority and reclaim our lawful rights and powers from the usurping federal government. This is truly an historic opportunity for a rebirth of freedom in America!!
It's time to finally put a check on big government tyranny and begin rolling back the excesses of socialism and reestablish liberty and freedom for America and all Americans!!
It's not time for pussyfooting or shirking our duties. It's time do redouble our efforts and fight the godless, lawless socialist bastards!!
And what are we fighting for? God, life, family, liberty, country!! Freedom!!
Never give in, never give up, never surrender!!
Meanwhile, let's keep our internet communications channel well funded and in fighting trim!!
Our site is funded solely by contributions made by liberty loving patriots who enjoy and use it.
We are beholden to no political party.
No advertisers, no outsiders, no sugar daddies, no corporate string pullers.
No commercial ads. No annoying pop-ups. No ad tracking. No mail campaigns. No spam.
Definitely no government subsidies or tax breaks.
We are self-funded, fiercely independent and enjoy our freedom to speak plainly in the support of God, family, country, liberty!!
But we cannot exist without you.
If you have not yet made your donation, today would be an excellent day to do so.
Every donation counts no matter how big or small. If you can donate $5, $10, $20, $100 or more, it would be greatly appreciated.
Your loyal support makes Free Republic possible and your continuing participation makes FR the number one pro-life, pro-family, pro-small government, pro-defense conservative forum on the Net!!
And we're going to need FR now more than ever to combat the current crop of Marxists and progressives who have infested our government and public institutions and who are dead set on destroying the final remnants of our cherished constitution and our precious God-given liberty!!
Please click the secure server link above or donate by mail to: Free Republic - PO Box 9771 - Fresno, CA 93794
Make it a monthly if you can. We have some very generous FReeper sponsors kicking in an extra ten bucks for every new monthly signed up. We already have 31 new monthly donors this quarter.
Or send in a hundred dollars or more per quarter and join I_be_tc's growing list of 300 Club patriots. I_be_tc sends in $100 per quarter and challenges 300 others to do the same. And we have received 142 donations of $100 or more so far this quarter. If we could get 300 FReepers to send in $100 per quarter, these FReepathons would complete much faster.
Send in 25 and help keep freedom alive!!
Thank you all very much!!
God bless.

In many American households, the Thanksgiving celebration has lost much of its original religious significance; instead, it now centers on cooking and sharing a bountiful meal with family and friends.
Turkey, a Thanksgiving staple so ubiquitous it has become all but synonymous with the holiday, may or may not have been on offer when the Pilgrims hosted the inaugural feast in 1621. Today, however, nearly 90 percent of Americans eat the birdwhether roasted, baked or deep-friedon Thanksgiving, according to the National Turkey Federation.
Other traditional foods include stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie.
Volunteering is a common Thanksgiving Day activity, and communities often hold food drives and host free
dinners for the less fortunate.

I'm standing there filling the car's gas tank when in comes a car. It stops at a pump, the driver gets out, walks around the car and gets back in. Drives around to another tank, gets out, walks around, throws his arms up in my direction laughing as he heads back into his car.
I said to him, "Is there an arrow next to the gas pump icon on your dash?
Eureka! He laughed that he had never noticed. I hadn't, either till reading about it somewhere

Making new Thanksgiving family traditions Do a "Turkey Trot" Run or Walk
Everyone in your family can work up an appetite for your Turkey Day feast by participating in a community walk or run. There's probably a "turkey trot" or two in your area, and the registration funds raised typically benefit a good cause.
