Identical twins have the exact same DNA because they came from the same fertilized egg. Identical twins do NOT have the same fingerprint, however. Fraternal twins do not have the same DNA.

I had a friend who was very well versed on the subject and she said it wasn’t exactly the same DNA. And I do know the difference between identical and fraternal. According to her, there were some variations in identical’s DNA sequences. But she was a big Lefty and she may have been searching for a reason to support the genetic claim.
