To: Tolerance Sucks Rocks

If they had a proper backstop and weren’t drinking I don’t see an issue. I’m guessing those conditions weren’t met.

Nope, they’ve made the discharge of a firearm within the city limits illegal. used to be shooting on your own property was quite legal, while sodomy in the privacy of your bedroom was illegal. Now sodomy in your private bedroom is legal, and the discharge of your firearm or even owning an unpermitted firearm in your own home is illegal. What next....

There’s a big difference between someone living on several acres of land firing a weapon and a zero lot line property, a .22 caliber vs .40 caliber, and having target practice at 5:00 pm vs 11:30 pm....but I do get your point...: )

Backstop? I built one from plywood and filled it with rubber mulch. I can shoot 5.56 into it lengthwise and catch the bullets or up to 9mm +p into the sides and catch the bullets. I shoot mostly .22lr into a rubber-mulch-filled target bucket, with the backstop to catch anything that might stray. From my morning room through the kitchen and into the garage I can get ten + yards easily.

After reading this thread, I may have to start using a suppressor ...
