I think it was Patterson who started the world trap shooting championship at the airport, then McLin had it shut down after so many decades of it being here. I grew up in Dayton in the and left in 1976. The last time I was there (2002) I did not recognize the place. Most of the landmarks were still there, but damn, most of the town looked worse than the city dump. I guess the Progressive have fixed it. Just like many other places.
