PRAGUE (Reuters) - Czechs who helped bring about the "Velvet Revolution" that overthrew Kremlin-backed Communist rule are marking the 25th anniversary this week by accusing the country's present-day leaders of once again cosying up to Russia.

I agree with that statement, doesn't mean I love Putin.
If Putin wants to restore Russia to its place as the #1 socialist nation he is going to have to wrestle with Obama.
I don’t see it in any English-language sources but Zeman is also an opponent of giving monetary aid to Ukraine. He believes Ukrainian government artifically escalates situation on the East and talk up Russian role to put blame for their failures on the foreign enemies.
Russians took over Ukraine! A sovereign nation.
Want to explain how exactly that is ‘artificially escalating’?
You mean there are no Ukrainian citizens in resistance? Or maybe you insist Ukraine’s economy is not suffering after cutting ties with a major trading partner?
Zeman’s liver cannot explode soon enough. Which reminds me of the joke: Putin tells Zeman “If you start a conflict with me, I will bomb Prague!” to which Zeman replies “Oh yeah? If you do that, then I will bomb Karlovy Vary!”
I hate Putin and I agree with that
Russia and its army are running the place, hard to overstate that
Why do you run away from every direct question I ask you?
You’re alleging that Ukraine is escalating by having Russia invade. Explain that please...your theories are getting worse by the day.
It is clear that I was referring to other source, not me. What explanation do you want?
But following que bono principle Russia have literally nothing and Ukraine everything to gain from escalation
Russia attacked and took over a sovereign nation...are you on crack?
Russia is escalating, not Ukraine. If you think the opposite, why don’t you advocate for Russia to get the fuck out of Ukraine?
You certainly need to tone down a bit.
And I am actually not a supporter of Russian involvement in Ukraine in any form, including militarily.
Also, you have to admit that this forum is not the best tribune to influence Russian public opinion and government though.
On the other hand, American presence in Ukraine makes about as much sense as Soviet meddling in Cuba at the time and it is about to bring similar consequences.
“And I am actually not a supporter of Russian involvement in Ukraine in any form, including militarily.”
You’re joking right? That’s really all you do on FR.
I’ll ask you again....how do you consider Ukraine the one to be escalating? They are being taking over by Russians.
I’d love for you to explain just one of your BS theories.
I don’t remember If ever said Russia should solve Ukrainian problem militarily.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think you can.
As for ‘BS theories’ I shared my thoughts numerous time.
Let’s see in a couple years then they prove to be right.
You’re a propagandist, peddling BS Russian Soviet propaganda.
Can you answer the question or are you going to run away again?
That’s the third time on this forum alone you’ve avoided the question.
It is you who are running actually.
Show me where did I advocate for military invasion to Ukraine?
Funny comrade, you can’t do it can you?
You can’t answer the question. Typical Soviet Russian.
