Doubtless there was more to this than is being released. Was Wilson responding to a savage-dogs-manacing-public complaint and the owner was filming instead of cooperating?
Note that unlike some officers, Wilson did not shoot the dogs. I guess they had the brains not to charge an armed policeman.
I agree completely. In my opinion, there's always something more to a story, especially any short print story or television news story.
If I were to guess, the "more" to this includes additional elements that are, in some respect, unfavorable to both the videographer and Officer Wilson, as well as elements that are favorable to each.
We deal with that issue frequently at FR; I would guess we deal with it on a daily basis. Heaven knows I've seen articles that include only the 'facts' presented by the disgruntled parent of a student, and the attorney representing them, and nothing from the school which is being advised not to comment. However, people comment on those stories as if the 'facts' presented by one side in the dispute are the Gospel truth.
