For a reporter to ask such a question is foolish. Did he think he would get the truth?

On one level he did get the truth - Obama would not tell about the advice he received from the DOJ regarding the legality of the executive action coming soon.

A president can be voted out of office, a king/emperor must be forced out. That’s what popped into my mind when I read the story, I bet Obama was thinking the same.
