Is just his personal vendetta flaring up again. He’s been mad lately because more and more people are publicly disavowing the RIMOs and coming over to where we’re at RE: Romney. That and he never did sink the knifes completely into our backs so he wants to finish the job on me I suppose.
I gotta admit though, calling me a PDSer/Palin defier or whatever that garbled nonsense was is pretty whacked out even for him. Good lord, of all the people on fr to accuse of that with a prayer of it sticking, I’d have to be low on the candidate list. But he’ll just scream liar! or one of his other go-to catch phrases as usual and feel better about it.
He’s also apparently tweaked that Palin declared a RINO hunt and that means HE is either going to have to give up the RINO support or be the guy he accused me of being. Dilemma! But he’s making progress. He finally managed to disrupt a thread without posting Yosemite Sam on a Dragon. So there’s that.
Heya, Windflier, yep, I have to agree. Lakeshark is one of many Wimpy Conservatives, referring to Wimpy in the old Popeye cartoons. Remember Wimpy? "I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today." These so-called conservatives will gladly pressure functional Democrat Republicans on Tuesday if you vote for them today.
Lakeshark is also one of the Wimpy Conservatives who mistakenly thinks there are only about "fifty of you loudmouths" on FR who think it's stupid to vote for a functional Democrat Republican in the general just because he won the primary. Lakeshark hasn't crunched the numbers. I have. As of this point, we're looking at a whole helluva lot more than 50 individuals on FR who are on the same page as us. Right now, it's about even split between FReepers who have made it clear in their posts that they believe in voting Republican at any cost, and FReepers who now more or less declare, "I'm done playing that loser's game -- keep your RINO, let him lose." If anything, the numbers are slightly higher on OUR side, of rejecting RINOs even if it means the Democrat wins.
Lakeshark cannot handle that in 2012, he was in the minority who fell the "heads they win, tails we lose" GOPe political strategy; the balance (that would be us!) figuratively told Romney and the GOPe to go to hell. That's why Romney lost.
