After Massachusetts, California came calling. So did Connecticut, Delaware, Kansas, Minnesota, Oregon, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
They all wanted Jonathan Gruber, a numbers wizard at M.I.T., to help them figure out how to fix their health care systems, just as he had helped Mitt Romney overhaul health insurance when he was the Massachusetts governor.
Then came the call in 2008 from President-elect Obamas transition team, the one that officially turned this stay-at-home economics professor into Mr. Mandate.
Creating a good model from scratch would have taken months, maybe years, said Lawrence H. Summers, who was the director of President Obamas National Economic Council and had advised Mr. Gruber on his dissertation when they were at Harvard.
After Mr. Gruber helped the administration put together the basic principles of the proposal, the White House lent him to Capitol Hill to help Congressional staff members draft the specifics of the legislation.

I will not read anything from Pravda, thank you very much.
Romneycare was held up as a success. It became the exemplar model. But in fact it is a failure.

I wonder if CATHERINE RAMPELL is available for comment today.
Another great find. I can picture the DemonRATS running down the S.S. Obamacare’s mooring lines and scrambling onto the dock.
So what else is new?
Academia built the case for Fabian Socialism (now called “Progressivism”) over 100 years ago, promoting and approving class warfare and the state’s right to mass murder entire classes that don’t measure up.
Get a rope!
“Yes, I want the public to be informed by an objective expert, he says.”
The closing quote from Gruber is quite appropriate.

Gruber papers:

He said....”If the court rules against the mandate, Mr. Gruber says he believes the number of newly insured Americans could fall to eight million from the projected 32 million...”
1) 8 million Americans enrolled in a marketplace plan during open enrollment 2014 according to HHS.
2) 7 million Americans enrolled in Medicaid and CHIP with about 1.5 million waiting for their enrollment to go through.
3) Almost 1 million more were enrolled earlier in Medicaid Expansion plans in seven states.
So his horror story about the US Supreme Court possibly gutting Obama Care when the realized that it was a tax and therefore saved it, almost dropped enrollment from 32 million to 8 million, and yet we hear about the future....
“...HHS report projects that total enrollment on the ACA exchanges in 2015 will be 9.0 to 9.9 million. This compares with 7.1 million as of October 2014...”
So my question as a stupid voter is where the hell did this MIT wizz kid come up with 32 million people or is that part of the continuing set of lies that have been historically pushed on the public to convince them to back this POS?
