“Sen. Mitch McConnell has been unanimously re-elected as Republican leader, his staff says”

you can say anything you want without a recorded vote. For all we know, they picked a time when they knew Cruz wouldn’t be around.

No, but McConnell's staff would like you to think that. There was no roll-call vote.

That’s like saying the French are better fighters than the Italians.

Good. I don’t care if they are GOP. I hope Bob Corker is one of them to go.

Happy to say that last week I only voted for 2 Republicans and they were my local state rep and state senator.

I voted against Republican Gov. Bill Haslam (went with Constitution Party); Sen Lamar Alexander (wrote in his primary opponent Joe Carr); and Rep. Marsha Blackburn (went Idependant).

All three have become squishy libs.

And voice vote, which makes it hard to know who didn’t yell, even if the door had been open. They do this when they want to crucify somebody. Guess who.

So Ted Cruz didn’t object.

Cruz may not have been there. You and I don't know if he was there or not, given that there was no roll-call vote, and how much McConnell lies.

So Ted Cruz didn’t object.

**************

It was by acclimation as opposed to individual votes. But I suspect Cruz is selective
about which battles he'll fight and not waste energy on something he can't control.

Can’t say I blame you, but this time around the senate was so crucial.

I didn’t vote for my U.S. representative but did vote for my Rino’s Rino John Cornyn only because of the senate.

My patience is wearin thin with Congress.

If Cruz voted for him, McConnell must have made a pretty strong case for the direction he is going to take. I think they realize that we are watching them and finally realize that they must fight Obama. I also think there are probably some dems that want to fight Obama and McConnell knows who they are.

Six Democrats voted against Harry Reid for their leader: Kaine, Landrieu, McCaskill, Warner, Manchin and Heitkamp .
I wish the Republicans had taken a real roll call vote as well and sent McConnell a message.
