Somehow this got under Kim's skin. He dispatched all of NK's dimplomatic corps to many countries in the world, to stop it from happening. Then he finally called it off. Probably he gave up. The recent release of two American hostages by NK is likely to be closely related to this effort. Kim has to show the world that he is a humanitarian. We all know he is not, but he does not have to make things worse by keeping them around.
