They haven’t been known to treat their employees well either (trust me I worked there for a year and a half).
Not much anymore I get from Walmart. Some chip dip, Oikos Banana Cream yogurt, etc. But I think they are phasing out some of the yogurt flavors. I have had several issues with food quality. I stay away from vegetables at Walmart.
I seem to find what I need at BJ’s. Have never had an issue with food quality.
Wegman’s is where I like to go when in the area of one when visiting. Vegetables are the best, deli meats and cheese are outstanding. They are more expensive for several items, but I find the food quality of the veggies, meats and cheese to be first rate. A great olive bar, sometime I end up with a few soft olives, but that is uncommon. And customer service is top notch. I don’t see long lines in a checkout as they keep so many open. A good place to work from what I hear.
