Not in Herr Obozo’s America. A few years ago, a friend ended up in a phony trial claiming he had caused enviral mental damages to a parking lot he owned by putting up a temporary dam to keep a winter seasonal creek from flowing into his parking lot.
His lawyer after the jury was placed, asked the Judge to recuse himself and the DA because they were both active Sierra Club members and officers. The judge refused and that probably lost the case in the eyes of the new jurors.
