I’m surprised that Gruber’s attorney hasn’t told him to zip it up and go into hiding. Purposely lying to the CBO about his plan could land him in jail.
If there was some sort of conspiracy to lie about the plan, how can we divine the intentions of the authors of the plan when it comes to subsidies for state exchanges? Admittedly, because the intentions of the authors were deceptive and duplicitous, they acted in bad faith. Thus, the arguments that non-state federal plans should relieve federal subsidies should be rejected because the authors intended to deceive.
Haul him and Zeke in front of congress and investigate.

But, it’s not much of a defense that Gruber’s lied to a member(s) of congress to get such an important bill into law.

Why haul him in front of Congress when we have a full confession of the facts from him on video tape?
Investigate pajama boy. There is no doubt as you’ve mentioned, that there are others who have lied to the CBO. He might say something about some key people if granted immunity, as he has already openly stated things that can get him in trouble.
As congress finds that more people were involved in lying to the CBO, there will be more pressure to dismantle/repeal 0-care.
That’s fine. I’m just saying that he’s not really the one who is legally culpable for what gets submitted to the CBO. I could be wrong but I suspect that that is only done by a Congress critter and it would be a matter of record so there is no need to ask him who did it. He doesn’t set House or Senate protocol or ethics and he doesn’t keep congressional records.

An arrogant punk like many academics building empires out of words that have little relationship to the real world - the real irony is that the American voters, as stupid as they may be, saw through this toxic program and disapproved it from the beginning - apparently Gruber is more stupid than they are....
