Why should Ukraine work with Russia on economic issues when they were invaded days after they overthrew the Russian puppet who had looted their country for a decade?
Because they are neighbors and spitting in Russia’s face is getting them nowhere.
Ukraine is kidding itself if it thinks EU isn’t going to use it, too. They are trading one overlord for another.
Ukraine is full of corruption and crime, too. Don’t make the mistake of considering them complete innocent victims.
The ridiculous thing is that often it seems like children are running these countries, children who do things more for spite than for the good of the people and advancement of their situation.
