It does seems that the world doesn’t give a rip about the Russian economy. If capitalism looks like a failure to them they will return to their old ways. The U.S. talks about its economy as its most important issue. Is it any surprise that other countries want growing economies, too?
I am not defending aggression. But Ukraine could have worked with them on the economic issues instead of joining up with the EU.
Russia is not the type of country to be starved into submission. I can’t see sanctions doing anything but driving them back to cold war ways.
