Rapper Big Paybacc has been shot dead while eating his lunch in a McDonald's near Los Angeles.
The star, whose 2011 track Gangsta Luv has been viewed more than 250,000 times on YouTube, was gunned down by an attacker who walked in and opened fire.
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department spokeswoman Deputy Guillermina Saldana said: "It appears to detectives that the victim was the intended target and that this was not a random shooting."
The victim was identified officially as 38-year-old Habeeb Ameer Zekajj, the rapper's real name.
Big Paybacc was connected to former G-Unit artist Spider Loc.

After listening to Gangsta Luv, I imagine the perp thought he was doing the music industry a favour.
That is VERY FUNNY!!!!!!!!!!
Sort of like the zoo worker who was responsible for maintaining the raccoons' nook during the lunch hour of the regular raccoon keeper.
You know, the raccoonnoonnookkeeper.
Do you want fries with that?
I guess his name was inspired by James Brown.
The Payback

Speaking of James Brown, here is a quote from him that the Viking Kitties can use for a zot. Or maybe someone can use in an opus.
“Engineer can you shut the thing down? Fade me on out of here. cause I have to leave anyway. Fade it on out. Im gone.”
-James Brown in the song Get It Together (1967)
so it wasn’t a cop killing him?....that goes against the meme.
The best song on that James Brown album is “Papa Don’t Take No Mess.”
It looks like The Paybacc took some mess.
>>My gosh, its already been 24 YEARS since Tayback died? Where did the time go?
As this is a gansta music thread, I give you this film with Vic Tayback and Johnny Cash in gangsta roles.

Frank Sinatra was a gangsta too (who was a bag man for the mob).
INspiring rapper or ASpiring rapper?
Word got out that he ate the last ten remaining Sausage, Egg, and Cheese biscuits.
Something like that can get you killed.
Sinatra was a "gangster", not a "gangsta". There's a difference, y'know.
I've known a couple of people in the former category (in their younger days), and would have no personal safety concerns whatsoever about associating with them. I would never even think of knowingly going near someone of the "gangsta" variety any more than I would play Russian Roulette with a loaded gun.
Furthermore, Sinatra you can listen to. I defy you to listen to Mr. Big Paybacc more than 30 seconds. I've tried-it can't be done.
