I can understand why it’s difficult for some to drop out of a race. They make commitments to donors and supporters.

He also knew there was a runoff so it wasn’t handing it to the demo.

There is no reason why this should have happened before Tuesday. Maness would have been a better Senator. Maness tried to win the election. Now that he lost the election he is supporting the better of the two remaining candidates.

I don't see a problem with Maness here.
