I had a math teacher in middle school that gave us a “battery test” the first day because he pointedly did not trust the 7th grade teachers to do their job. I think, in all, it’s not a bad practice. You get to see which students need the most help.

As a new school board member, I will state I see no overt
action taken to influence our kids.
What I think I perceive is the intentional withholding of true education.
Unless that is considered an act ...
