California Division of Motor Vehicles is preparing for roughly 1.4 million new driver’s license applicants after Jan. 1.
That’s when Assembly Bill 60, or the Safe and Responsible Drivers Act, goes into effect.
FOX40 spoke with a Maria Rodriguez, an undocumented immigrant living in West Sacramento who plans to apply for a license under the new law.
“It’s the best thing that could have happened to us in California. We’ve been waiting for it for many, many years,” Rodriguez said.
The DMV is encouraging all eligible applicants to start preparing for their drivers tests early.
When Nevada adopted a similar law, about 90 percent of undocumented immigrants failed the written exam.

License? We don't need no stinkin' license ...
So if California issues a drivers license to an illegal alien and they leaves California and hits a citizen and kills that citizen can the family sue the State of California? Would they not be complicit in the criminal act because they facilitated it?
Foreigners can drive on the license issued by their country. There is no need to give them a license from a U.S. state.
I’ve read that a lot of the illegal criminal Mexicans are illiterate in their own language as well as in English. How will they pass a drivers test in any language or will they be given a pass on written tests?

Meanwhile, CA has a task force to send officers door-to-door, confiscating guns from people who *live with* prohibited people, but have committed no crime.
It’s getting difficult to see what benefits citizenship gives us.

I had two semesters of Spanish at the local J.C. about 20 years ago, what I remember is maybe a dozen words. Some folks are gifted in being able to learn foreign languages, I aint among them. ¿Entienda?
We need to find out who they are, and where they live. That will make the deportations that much easier.
But they can USE this ID to VOTE. It’s simply the government bowing to their Satanic master in DC to counter any voter ID laws that might be implemented. Ya got to start thinking like the lying conniving Alinkskytes to know what they will pull next to beat them. I wold love it if someone put, “This card is not to be used as a form of identification for the following reason(s): (1) the license was issued in the name the illegal immigrant provided when applying for their driver’s license (2) the ilegal immigrant was unable to provide proof of identity at the time of the driving test, and (3) cannot be used to apply for social welfare programs. As such this card is only to be used for confirmation of driving privileges and cannot be used for identification purposes or voter identification.”. : )
I’m in Illinois, where we recently got legal concealed carry. I’ve been “packing” for over 40 years.

Another beef of mine is that in many states you must be 21 years old to legally carry, I understand that in some places the age is 25.
When our kids are in a war at age 18 they are men and women, when they come home they are “children” again and can’t legally carry.
This is about voting, driving is just the tool to secure democrats in office.
Where are all the busybody judges now?
Makes me wonder how many illegal votes brought this about?
