From the article:

A tea party group said they’re happy Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid was demoted with the wave of Republican elects Tuesday evening — but they’re not stopping there. Next up, the Tea Party Express says — oust him. The group is holding a “unity press conference” Thursday at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas to outline its plans for the 2016 election. “We fired him last night as Senate majority leader, now our focus is on retiring him once and for all,” Tea Party Express executive director Taylor Budowich told The Hill. “That’s what the Tea Party’s focus is going to be right out of the gate. We aren’t going to be sitting on our hands waiting for a race to come to us.”

It looks like we need Tea Party activists to plan on being like Mormon missionaries and go spend up to a few years in Nevada as campaigners for Reid's opponent.

*IF* Republicans do what they were elected to do over the next two years, Reid will become so irrelevant that retiring him will be more enjoyable than actually necessary.

I don’t believe they will. We should expect to see the race card played every time a Republican opens his mouth. It’s worked for 6 years. Will it continue to work? Probably.

I think Sandoval is setting himself up to challenge Reid, and if he does, it will be a done deal. Reid will go down in flames. Hispanics will break for Sandoval who has sky high popularity.

Tea Partiers don’t have Democrat targets in 2016 for senate really. The only vulnerable dems will be Reid and Bennett in Colorado, and it might be a bad idea to risk running an ideologue against Bennett again (depending on the mood of the presidential election)

That being said, it does leave more money and energy to be spent on kicking out McLame and MurCOWski, maybe primarying Boozman or Isakson. We have to see off a Hatch-engineered challenge to unseat Mike Lee that they have been cooking up.

Hatch himself is retiring (Open seat). and David Vitter is running for LA governor (Open seat - Elbert Guillory?)

The Tea Party needs to make it known that entrenched GOP leaders that are willing to offer amnesty and comprehensive immigration reform to bring illegal immigrant and Hispanic voters into the fold, so they can win the Presidency in 2016 will pay a price.

The Tea Party needs to go for broke and threaten to split the GOP over this, many suspect that the slime bag political operatives and leadership such as Priebus, Rove, Boehner and McConnell will try and pull this off as their strategy to out Democrat the Democrats. This entrenched globalist party leadership needs swept clean.

At this point Harry Reid is such a discredited hack that if the Dems want to keep him as their leader and base their reputation on him, that is fine with me. Voters look at Harry, Barry, Kerry and Hillary and recoil with repulsion.

This needs to be a HUGE groundswell with triple-digit $millions being spent in Nevada in 2016 to send off Harry Reid. Even aside from the financials...other things could be done RIGHT NOW!

1

I think grassroots Mormons in Utah & Nevada need to step it up and publicly shame Harry Reid for his political track record. (If not, they continue to be part of the cover-up problem!)

2

The Mormon Church needs to stop sanctioning Harry Reid, like it did when Reid speak @ BYU in 2007 before its entire invited campus:
Source: Reid Gets Warm Reception at BYU

3

The Mormon Church needs to consider firing Harry Reid as an officially sanctioned "home teacher" within its midst.

Why? Oh, here's a few good summaries...just for starters:
* Harry Reid: the epitome of corruption
* HARRY: Money, Mob & Influence (Book in Searchlight) (by FREEPER Daxton Brown)

What? You didn't know that Harry Reid was a faithful Lds church-sanctioned "home teacher" in the D.C. area?

The Salt Lake Tribune ran an October 2009 article Harry Reid: A Mormon in the Middle

Here were two “interesting” comments by fellow Mormons about Reid, including one from Sen. Orrin Hatch:
Bennett's Utah Senate colleague, Orrin Hatch, says it's not fair for fellow Mormons to disparage Reid as anything but a devout Mormon..."I can personally tell you that Harry is a good member of the LDS faith and he was expressing a personal opinion that his side feels very deeply about," Hatch says.

This Trib article also mentioned how ”Today, Reid, with his security escort in tow, likely will be making his home teaching rounds after his ward's three-hour service. Anyone who questions his Mormon credentials should see that, says Jim Vlock, his home-teaching companion.

easy. don’t nominate sharron angle, or a doomed sharron angle-like candidate. people need to take a long, hard look at how that happened.

we could have dusted his hateful a$$ in 2010 if had just kept our act together.
